Our last day in San Francisco. We spent most of our day shopping at Union Square, however, with flight back to Toronto the following day at 6:30am, we checked out of the apartment and checked in at a hotel near the airport for convenience.
For dinner, we ate at Sakana Japanese Sushi Bar and Grill, a small and slightly hole-in-the-wall sushi joint. We were lucky to have a table the moment we walked in as restaurant was unable to accommodate groups coming in throughout the evening.
Tuna Bomb Roll (Spicy Tuna with Deep Fried Jalapeno)
The toro was a bit of a disappointment, for $5/piece, we felt it was not even toro at all. My favourite was the grilled cod and the 49ers roll. The lemon goes well with the roll, but lemon always goes perfectly well with seafood. The tuna bomb roll was indeed a bomb; too spicy for me, but for those of you who like spicy sushi rolls may enjoy this.

Overall, we had an amazing time in San Francisco and I miss the city dearly. We had fantastic weather during our stay and there’s still so much to do and see. I was sad to return back home to bone-chilling temperatures. If you ever have a chance to visit San Francisco, do it!
