Waterfall Hopping in Hamilton, Ontario

Hamilton, Ontario is home to many waterfalls due to its location along Lake Ontario and the Niagara Escarpment. On Thanksgiving weekend, my brother, cousin and I went on a little waterfall hopping. A few falls were dried, so after a large rainstorm or even the Spring melt may be the best time to see them.

Getting up close to the falls do require some hiking and walking through uneven terrain, but once you get to the basin, it’s a better view than seeing it from atop.

Webster’s Falls. The access to the basin was unfortunately, closed off.

Tew’s Falls, or not very much of it. It was also quite difficult to photograph as the sun was beaming right on the falls.
