Out of all the poké places so far I’ve tried, Poke Guys tops the list.
I was surprised that the regular size bowls were filled to the brim. I had to go to the office on Saturday and after leaving the office, I made a detour before heading home to try Poke Guys for an in-between lunch and dinner meal.
You can build your own bowl, but I chose their signature bowl, the PG’s Bowl ($10 for regular). Subbed white rice for brown rice at no extra cost. It had salmon in classic shoyu, masago, edamame, kimchi, corn, fried onion, pickled red ginger, black and white sesame seeds. I added green onions, nori seaweed and rainbow radish. It was very filling as it was a huge portion. I did find the kimchi overpowered the flavours though.
Overall, I personally think its well-worth what you’re getting compared to other poké spots in the city. There’s good amount of seating; window seats are prime seats for those eating alone!
